As an a-level maths student, I can say with confidence that I only understand the bare bare minimum of what's going on at a brief read, however, I will say that with my own applications - actually *seeing* the effects of mathematics and interesting calculations is fascinating. Most of the time, maths to people is just question after question on an exam paper, but realistically, seeing the effects can result in bizarre, fascinating displays.
I'm really glad someone is exploring these patterns, and will definitely keep an eye out on future publications!

Thank you both kindly <3

Yeah for sure. As you get older and optionally progress through education maths becomes less about the exam questions and more about the very ideas themselves. Obviously you need to test your knowledge but once you reach a point where you're getting into the nitty gritty beautiful stuff, that matters less. But yeah absolutely beautiful stuff and it's some of the stuff I'm heavily interested in and have been for the last few years. It's only now that I've really sort of the developed the tools I need to get this far.
Nice site!

If I had any suggestion, I would put more visuals? Like graphs? It's hard to look at just text and also seeing a graph would help people understand, especially if you're going to be talking about functions.

It's also great you have a notation section, but if your audience is going to lean to those who don't have too much experience in maths than you might want to clarify more of the other notations.

Just a few suggestions, great site though and interesting content.
Thanks for that! I'll try and do that to be honest; visuals are probably the hardest part because I don't know where I should put them in and what I should show, but I do agree that a lot of it needs some visual aspect.
And yeah extra clarification is always a good idea. I'll probably end up doing a few introductory posts to complement all the fun bits and pieces I've been doing. Thanks a heap <3

I love it, but as a person who does know what is going on I do have a slight complaint and that is that it seems to not be as organized as I like but it could also just be the lack of content, but names that are more specific to what is happening in the section as opposed to little witty one liners would be nicer
For the most part, I believe I do do a decent job of having section titles that explain the content or at least some subset of the idea of the content (things like 'The Piecewise Stratagem' for example may be a bit of a stretch, but also do relate closely to what I'm doing). With that being said though, which section titles in particular?

The names of the posts themselves are ideally a little bit more clickbaity but I do try to relate them more closely to what I'm trying to achieve as opposed to how I'm trying to achieve it. If you have suggestions for those I'd be happy to take them because they are admittedly cringy <3.

The lack of content ultimately stems from the fact this is more or less stuff I'm experimenting or playing around with; new ideas that I haven't seen anywhere else yet. Ultimately I'm just building up the tools to reach new, or recreate, certain results with far more clear derivations and have a bit of fun. The tradeoff is obviously the time that it takes to do that and the effort; I won't post something unless I'm pretty much bang on certain that there are no massively major flaws in it - that is, the foundations of what I know won't contradict my results. As I progress through my learning I'll eventually come back and strengthen, or break down, my arguments and ideas and ideally come up with new ones.

For organisation in general I'll admit it's probably not as organised as one would hope, and my end goal is to probably be able to write a document that fully and systematically explains the ideas I'm trying to get across similarly to a textbook. With that being said, my posts aren't first drafts (I'll do them in word documents or in pieces, or both, and send them to others to look at, then come up with a post), but definitely aren't mega-polished products.

Thanks for your feedback :D lmk if you have any other thoughts, always thoroughly appreciated <3

I like the simplicity of the website, the minimalistic style. In fact, what distinguishes your website from a textbook is the passion and interest, which is being shown subtlely

Hi Ally.

I don't understand anything that you are writing about. Last summer, I had to dip into some linear algebra and proofs and I can say without a doubt, it was like reading hieroglyphs. Your site reminds me a lot of it.

However, for the actual website itself, I really like it. Minimalist design, easy to navigate-- it's super well made. I think perhaps a background would be cool, but I'm not sure what. I like the white theme, so if you do opt for a background, it needs to be subtle.

Heya, cool website overall. Sure I may not understand one word written but ay, the website's simplistic and easy to actually go through. Should add dark mode though Kappa
