I'm pretty sure this hasn't be posted before, but I could be wrong, so if I am just let me know.
So, I always notice "NEW MEMBER JOINED TODAY!" accounts spamming the MC account sections placing bids or bins on accounts. We all see it, it can be really frustrating and can sometimes lead to scamming. I notice a lot of these people being alts/evaders, though I know they all aren't.
I personally think it would help the sections, and community overall if there was some sort of time restriction before an account can start posting/viewing those sections to avoid flooding/spam. This wouldn't stop all the scammers ofc, that's impossible, but it could help stop ban evaders from jumping on an alt and trying to swindle someone.

Thanks! Feedback is loved. <3

When will you suggest members should be able to start viewing or responding to these threads then? I mean both rep and time is something easy to evade. You can easily just make an account and stay on the site for a while and then be able to post. Or use fake rep. Another problem is how are these users going to be able to gain rep from buying stuff from the market? I still agree to the problem

I didn't mean everything was closed off to them, just MC accounts, as a lot of them are sold for 100s~ and I almost always see evaders targeting that section. People could still access the rest of the site. As for the time, I really don't know what would be the most probable? Maybe 2 weeks? You're right it could be easy waited out, but I think it could still help the less persistent ones.

Maybe at least 15 posts, that way they can get some posts my making an introduction, talking in general discussion, and getting their barrings on the forum.

And how about if you buy premium you dont need to exceed 15 posts before you can post there. I'm not saying that you need to buy premium so you can post there, it just shows that you are more loyal to the forum, and less likely to scam. It also shows that you are a little less suspicious because you bought premium. And some people buy premium just so they can sell an account, not to be an active member on the forum. An example is Cascoid .

If you want to accept bids from a new user on your account you're selling then that is your choice and your responsibility. Just because someone is new to the site doesn't mean we should restrict what they bid on with these accounts I don't think. Since you're not forced on accepting bids I don't see the point really.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
