We all want MC Accounts back on the forums.
Everyone know's that they caused the most scamming.

Then bring it back with this solution!
User's will need to gif them logging into the mojang website, and entering security questions, and then the name which they were selling, would show up.
They would also need to gif them logging into minecraft itself, with the SAME Details, and going on a server, and saying "USERNAME - MCM".
This is a good way to prevent scammers (But it won't stop scammers 100%).

If you agree or disagree *PUT WHY*

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

It was due to accounts getting locked, not scamming.

The point is that people can still scam even if they own the account.

Also Mojang doesnt allow the sale of accounts and MCM doesnt want to risk it anymore.

It was never about selling, it was about stealing. This was Mojang's "Security Update". People were cracking unmigrated accounts and Mojang was getting many support requests. Legitimate accounts can be easily sold without being locked and even unmigrated accounts that were migrated given that it was done on a unique IP once every 24 hours. In fact, I'm noting down all the ways accounts get locked, and we're hoping to find a viable solution to bring them back.

You do know for example if the name was "Advance" then you could do Ad*v*nc*e. that way Mojang cant find them as easy!

The accounts get locked based off IPs and migration info. The usernames being posted aren't why accounts get locked.

Mojang wasn't really locking accounts from what I heard they were just getting the passwords changed and the email be set back to the first email it was registered to?

They add "-compromised" at the end of the email, and change the password so the account is inaccessible. The only way to get it back is if the original owner uses TID to recover it.
