Hi all, I want to get into selling, buying, and sniping accounts. I know like nothing about this and want some hints/pointers like what stuff means, what to look for, what to stay away from. Chearful User are legit the only good/well-known people in the account business that I know of.

Sniping - Basically, there's three ways to do this, and one of them isn't really possible unless you know the right people
1. Chearful sniping. This is how most good OGs are sniped. Chearful spams name block requests to prevent anyone from getting the name, then claims it and unblocks it at the same time later on. IIRC, they had a success rate of something like 98.3% over the past year.
2. Hand sniping. You can get some decent names out of this. Be aware that any accounts listed on chearful.ninja's snipe shop are impossible to get (at least, casually). You can potentially snipe some very good names (iirc, Chucky was handsniped and beat chearful due to perfect timing, and my snipe Livestream was also beaten by a well-timed handsnipe) but the chances are incredibly low. More likely, you'll be able to snipe semis worth $5-25 (e.g Stopper, Minces)
3. Turbo sniping. There are not many of these around and to my knowledge, most are private. I've heard one is for sale on a competitor forum, not sure how valid the rumor is. There's occasionally other snipers that pop up from time to time like DuckSniper/NutSniper, but these tend to be pretty low-quality.

Semi-OGs:
There are 4 tiers of semi-ogs (the way i see it). There's low-tier, medium-tier, high-tier, and "og semis". Low-tier are names that generally will sell for under $20. Medium tier sells for $20-50, generally, and high tier can sell from $50 to over $100. "OG semis" are names like "Hacks", "Winner", etc; the OG would be Hack, or Win, but these are so clean and commonly used that 99% of the time, they are sold as OGs. Medium/high/og semis are almost all listed on chearfulninja, but I'd say you can handsnipe roughly half of the low-tier semis. You can also try to buy and resell these accounts, but semi-OGs are the second least resellable type of account on MCM, in my opinion (only rank accounts are worse)

OGs: OGs are much more resellable than semis (usually) and tend to be sold by people more well-known in the community (or ban evaders; 50/50 chance, really). Again, the vast majority are listed on chearfulninja. There are low/medium/high tier ogs (examples being Roxie for low-tier, Winner for medium tier, and Kill for high tier).

Capes: Capes are definitely the most resellable, in my experience, of all MCM accounts. I personally buy accounts equally on MCM and on Discord, but I've made a profit of 10-50% for each one of my sales, which is quite nice. Always check the name history, because a lot of these are cracked or hacked by Polish scammers (a few examples being Cytrus, wsadd, saigo, Persian, etc) and they sometimes leave their name in the name history. In terms of cape codes, you'll probably find these moreso on Discord than MCM or any competitor sites, at least from what I've seen.

Rank/stat accounts: Not worth selling. Sorry. Market is flooded and prices are high while demand is low. I can help you out if that ever changes, though :)

When dealing, stay away from:
1. New users with high rep. By new users with high rep, I am referring to accounts that are under 2 weeks old and have 3+ reputation over the same day or two. In account selling specifically, these tend to be ban evaders. In other communities, like Skyblock coin selling, this is much more common and they are more likely to be legit,
2. People mass-selling accounts. Unless the user is incredibly reputable, anyone selling 5+ accounts at once in the same section tends to be, once again, a ban evader.
3. Recently active accounts. If an account was made in 2016, posted 8 times, then came back in January 2020 and started to sell accounts, the odds are that the MCM account has been compromised (often from the database breach of a competitor site)
4. Unrealistically low prices. If it seems too good to be true, it most likely is.
5. Accounts that aren't email changeable. If the email isn't changeable, A. they can recover the email and get the account back and B. the dispute link is still active so they can get the account back in that way.

There's a lot more to talk about, but this should be a start. Happy account trading!

Thanks for putting so much time and effort into this. I think I'm really kinda ready to do some Snipes. Could you explain to me the whole process of getting a snipe off chearful, I have a name in mind, it's on there.

I personally hand sniped "Sisters" and it really is random, sometimes you will get it and sometimes you won't. The name gets blocked for 30 minutes, 5 minutes, or 1 minute, or for hours.

I want to look into the "turbo sniping" method, seems interesting.

This was incredibly helpful. Would you be willing to answer some questions if I DM'D you? If not no worries.
