MC-Market Application using Tapatalk

Hello all! With several users per week suggesting an MC-Market application for mobile, it is known the effort would be very considerable and it would be a pricy project.
But... here’s the catch of this thread: Tapatalk.

For those who do not know, Tapatalk is a xenforo addon that allows user to sign in the forum thru their app. It allows better visualization of the forum, notifications and less data consumption. Overall, it brings a better experience to all the mobile users.

Integrating this addon would not be any sort of expense, would be hugely appreciated by the community and to conclude, never will one suggest an application.

I truly hope we will one day achieve the mobile mc-market dream,

Could this potential give some sort of memory leak as it is an addon, and the site was built for a browser not an application? (I would assume there would be bugs that justis/jayson would have to fix along the way as well as setting it up would cause some issues perhaps?)

However, I do like this idea. Any pictures of what it looks like? Examples etc so users can get an idea of how it would look VIA their phones?

Would this work with custom addons? Such as the reputation system. I’m all for it but if it won’t work with the customized features we have then I’m against it.

The site is very mobile compatible and I’ve never had any problems with it. Would you say it’s necessary or even worth it? What makes it so much better?

No. Tapatalk sucks, and I've never had an issue with MCM on mobile.

Just make a home shortcut with a mobile browser or whatever and it's essentially an app

Tapatalk doesn't give the functionality of our custom addons, so I don't understand why it would ever be used since such a significant amount of our site will simply not be useable on the app. Using MCM on your phone's browser is perfect in my opinion, far better than tapatalk could be.

Plus I hate the Tapatalk VIP rank that allows users to bump threads every 6 hours and gives other perks, bypassing our account upgrades or giving users advantages they don't usually get.
