MC-Market.Org is the primary area of exit scamming. I have a idea where MC-Market creates this program where people deposit with Bitcoin or Paypal Family and friends and gets credits. When they buy items lets say a steam knife worth 80$ they would have to request payment and when the user recieves the knife the user on the other end clicks confirm payment. What if the user scams and takes the knife. Theres this other program where you would need to confirm the payment or request cancel payment so the buyer cannot automaticly cancel payment until the seller cancels it. the seller will then contact the staff what happen. the staff would have to review the seller and the buyer's case and find out what happen. with the seller and the buyer providing proof on who scammed etc. There would always be 1 scammer and 1 winner so the seller would recieve the money and the scammer would get banned and lose his money but he would get the knife so he basically just bought a knife and got banned.

Deposit - 5% deposit fee

Withdraw - 7% Withdraw fee.

This site would not do this unless its profitable so i made a way it could be profitable.

Users can still chargeback against mcm; they can claim it as unauthorized. This coin system could be easily abused.

There will always be a way to chargeback. I like the basis of the suggestion, but Spade is right.

The deposit per day should be 10$

Like everyone is saying. That would be abused. People would just chargeback on MCM. I'm sure scammers CB on MCM when they buy premium and get banned again for ban evading. The last thing they need is people charging back on this too.
MCM Could make payments through G2A or other programs.

This has been suggested what, 5 times now? Each time it has been denied for a number of reasons. 1. It does not stop exit scams. As others said, charging back is still an option. Even without claiming unauthorized on paypal itself, charging back if the payment was made via creditcard or bank balance is very possible.
2. It's a complex job to make a reasonably fool-proof credit system. This would cost many thousands and take ages, after which it would probably still be easily hacked, unless mick decides to go all out on it and spend tens of thousands on actual professional infosecurity experts to make it watertight. Right now, most of the actually secure features of the site related to payment are either part of xenforo or directly linked to Paypal. Making a standalone system like this would be difficult as fuck.
3. The big one: It makes Mcmarket at least partially liable for loss of money. Someone who thinks they've been treated unfairly could create a lot of trouble that way. Right now, a representative of the site (M6) tried to mediate between parties in conflict, and will ban the one deemed guilty of scamming, assuming they do not comply with the conditions he sets. However, whether or not the money is successfully charged back, McM does not get involved beyond perhaps changing the verdict of a scam report. This system would make them get a LOT more involved.
4. Due to the fees you suggest, it would be rarely used, and usually just bypassed because it's a huge hassle. Only the occasional high-risk deal would use it, almost guaranteeing that something goes wrong and one party will charge back or another ends up scammed.
The only way to get people to use it would be to force them to, which is practically impossible, since people would just leave static threads here and do their deals via skype and discord entirely (which is already being done a lot, in some ways).
5. This slows down the speed of deals a lot as well

All in all, this is a cure worse than the disease. People only ever seem to get exit-scammed on loans, steam items and MC-accounts, all of which are very high risk methods of making money. If you want to talk cure-worse-than-disease terms, we could just as well ban those from the site and have maybe 10% of the exit scams left, or the money involved greatly reduced.

Been suggested en declined (rightfully so) many times:
  • You can't just play bank. You're allowing people to deposit and withdraw money which is what a bank does. For this, you'd need to sort out the legal complications. You'd need to request and receive a payment license for e-money. The process behind this is expensive and complicated. Simply not worth it.
  • Development cost. MC-Market is having issues fixing bugs with basic addons. I doubt creating a monetary system from scratch within XenForo would be easy. I also wouldn't trust depositing funds on here lol.
  • This doesn't actually resolve the issue. It just makes MC-Market the victim instead of one of the users dealing. That isn't fair.
MC-Market shouldn't middleman. People just need to wake up and be more cautious when dealing.

I don’t completely agree with this but for those talking about chargebacks mcm could always only accept crypto. Only problem with this is crypto fees and mom shouldn’t be responsible for mm’ing.

That, and the fact that crypto is currently still quite unstable. Once bitcoin has settled down to the point where you don't need to worry if your account balance has suddenly dropped in worth by 10% or more, it might become a more attractive option for the long term.

There's multiple wallets where the BTC is automatically deposited into your bank account, so you won't have to worry about price drops. It'll automatically adjust accordingly.

I made a suggestion about introducing Bitcoin as a payment method a while back, and many people were worried about 'price drops', but someone said you can set it up to auto deposit. But Mick denied it because it'd just be another thing to manage :(

As others have said this has been suggested several times and declined each time, MCM acting as a middleman will take too much development and a tiny error could cause thousands of dollars of damage. Other sites do have credit systems such as http://[Censored].com, but their system doesn't allow for you to add currency to your account, it's given to you for posting or referring users.

It is a possibility for us to add but that would just cause people to shitpost more for credits and probably wouldn't be used for anything other than bragging rights to say you have the most of it. If you've got any input let me know, some of the addons that offer this sort of thing are:

https://www.themehouse.com/xenforo/1/addons/credits-core
https://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/store/product/339-dragonbyte-credits/
https://brivium.com/resources/credits-premium.36/ (probably not gonna be used, just for example)

I just simply don't want to accept bitcoin as I wouldn't do anything with it other than try and convert it and put it into my bank anyways.

Too difficult and complex to implement unfortunately as Ivain has said.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
