MC-Market Credits are finally here! And with that comes a sale, giveaway, and more.
MC-Market Credits & Sale
In our previous announcement, we showed off our new FastSpring checkout options for account upgrades. We’re taking the partnership a step further today with the implementation of MC-Market Credits, our on-site account balance system. Each Credit costs $1.00 USD through basically every payment gateway and you can receive up to 35% off by buying Credits in bulk or with cryptocurrency. Credits can be used to purchase Account Upgrades and are now the only way to pay for advertisements through our Ads Manager.
Credits cannot be transferred between users and cannot be cashed out once purchased. We have some exciting plans for ways we can grow the utility of Credits moving forward with partnerships and new features, but for now, their main use is for advertisers.
To celebrate (and test) this new Credits system we’re giving an extra 10% off on all Credit sales of $10 or higher for the next 24 hours! The discount is automatically applied at checkout and is available through both our FastSpring and Bitpay payment gateways.
$500 Credit Giveaway
The MC-Market Resource Manager has experienced some immense growth, especially over the past few years. Today we are celebrating our authors receiving a combined $1,000,000 USD of payments through the system since its inception. This is especially impressive considering that $450,000 of this was from just the past 12 months. We’ve also hit 300,000 registrations and are two-thirds of the way towards a million threads in our forums.
To celebrate these achievements from our community and the introduction of MC-Market Credits we will be giving away $50 in Credits to 10 users. XenForo 2 Migration Progress
To give a brief update of where we're at in our long and careful process of migrating MC-Market from XenForo 1 to XenForo 2, lots of progress has been made behind the scenes and we're very excited as we inch closer to the time we can officially migrate.
In a previous announcement we asked for feedback on some preliminary XF2 mockups we had created and since then we've received tonnes of very useful feedback we're grateful for. With everything suggested by the community we've created a new more definitive mockup that everyone's seemed very fond of so far but we'd love more feedback on it:
Development is well and truly on the way for the rest of the addons we need to migrate and theme development is scheduled to begin later this week once we have more feedback from everyone on the new mockups.

Since our last announcement we’ve also made the following changes to our team:
- Matqx has been promoted to Chat Moderator
- Tatty and Automating have been promoted Feedback Moderator
- Kram has taken additional responsibility as Resource Moderator and is no longer taking Scam Reports
- Note has resigned from Chat Moderator
Additionally, we’ve made the following minor changes:
- Disallowed Discord Nitro sales and Discord server boost services due to excessive scamming
- Reworded the notice shown to Suspended users to be more clear
- Renamed Disabled accounts to Deactivated accounts for clarity
- Added the ability for Ultimate users to like chat messages
- Adjusted all medals to now be consistent and beautiful
- Reduced price of Ultimate for a year from $50 per year to $48 per year
- Adjusted the price of featured resources:
- Plugins: Reduced from $10 to $5 per week
- Schematics: Increased from $10 to $15 per week
- Graphics: Reduced from $3 to $2 per week
- Websites: Increased from $3 to $5 per week
- Bots: Reduced from $3 to $2 per week
