I feel like most of the people disliking this post and shitting on it are thinking you dont know how to do such a thing and you're just suggesting it and there wouldn't really be a market for it. However, there are plenty of capable developers in the community who could do such a thing to help out. Also you should probably have a more detailed plan when suggesting something rather than just saying "Title, also make it fullscreen"
I think the majority of the users who you think will be using the app would have account upgrades with an ad free experience.
It wouldn't be profitable at all.
I think the most of us would agree it'll be harder to work with someone on a mobile device & especially if you are busy and not home.
I suppose you can use a mobile device to communicate and browse the site (which you can already do), but it isn't ideal to make a deal. If you are selling a Minecraft build you'd probably need to get on a computer to grab the file anyways. Even if you could make the deal over the phone and away from home, it'll be a very slow process... and a bad experience for your customer.
Aside from all of that.
You guys are making it sound like its impossible to use the site on mobile devices. What difference will an app have?
For those of you who are claiming the site isn't working on your phones, explain what isn't working. You might just need to change some of your browser's settings.

I agree with the idea, however it would take to long to get up and working, and they would make no money gain off it as it would just be average every day users using the app and already have ranks etc. It might help get more site views, however this is already a very known site.
Speaking as an iOS developer. The effort needed isn't much, probably a weeks worth of work. Problem is, there's no API so you'd have to write some scrapping services, cookie authentication and such. Like everyone said, there's really no need to do this, web view is fine.

I have yet to ever see a true valid reason as to why we need to code a whole app for iOS and Android just for a website. Mobile phones can perfectly manage this website through their built-in and external browser apps. This is a waste of time, money, and effort on Lyphiard's part. His time is better used for things that this website actually needs.
