MC Name Change

Hello, I ve been trying for the last 10 minutes to change my MC name and it says its unavailable although on namemc it says it is available. It is not something inappropriate. Is there a way to check if it got blocked or does anyone have a solution?

Could be a few reasons but there isn't going to be an exact reason. You could try contacting Mojang but I highly doubt you'll get a response.

Sometimes NameMC can glitch and say a name is available when it isn't. This has happened many times to me when I've double-checked on NameMC someone's skin. Refresh NameMC a few times and try and reload it and it might say the name is unavailable.

https://api.mojang.com/users/profiles/minecraft/[username] - If the result has an ign + uuid, then it's taken.
NameMC seems to be glitched recently.
