Hello,

For the absolute best performance I would recommend a dedicated server. We have dedicated servers available here: https://clovux.net/dedicated
Our i7-4790K/i7-6700K dedicated servers would offer the best performance as they have a high single-thread benchmark. Our dedicated servers are semi-managed, which means we can install a Minecraft panel (such as Pterodactyl) for you at no extra cost if you need.

If a dedicated server is out of your budget, then I would recommend a KVM VPS instead: https://clovux.net/kvm
It may also be useful to start with a KVM VPS now if you only have a few servers and then expand later. Our KVM VPS run on i7-6700K CPUs which makes them ideal for Minecraft servers. Minecraft panel installations cost $5 on KVM VPS.

If both a dedicated server and KVM VPS are out of your budget then I would recommend our shared Minecraft hosting: https://clovux.net/mc
Our shared Minecraft hosting plans run on i7-7700K CPUs or similar with SSDs. The i7-7700K also has a very high single-thread benchmark.

We've been around since 2014, which is much longer than most other hosts around here.

If you have any questions just let us know. You can add us on Discord also: Clovux#1980

Yes, you can run a BungeeCord network on the KVM VPS. If you would like a Minecraft panel installed you can choose the panel installation addon when purchasing.

I'd avoid clovux with a 10 foot poll if you want a stable network; In my view for a starting network, SoYouStart might be a better option for you as a lot of "hosting" providers in this space on MC-Market tend to buy SyS(So-You-Start) systems and upcharge you a bit.

Or just go to Ovhcloud directly for a even better experience but comes with a higher cost (So-You-Start is owned by OVH)
Hi there,

I've PM'd you so we can look into what happened here. As is evident from many reviews, we offer reliable and affordable hosting services.

Hey Shangl1e,

We can put together a Minecraft network for a very decent price. With a Bungeecord server and a pvp server, would like to discuss this with you.

Our Game Servers are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processors, with 10Gbit Uplink & 100Gbit/s On-site DDoS Protection.
I definitely recommend such processor(s) especially with Minecraft which is based on single thread performance. So not recommended to go for old I7 processors.

Would you like to appear in our discord server or create a ticket on our website.

Kind regards,
Team Xurver

It generally depends on a lot of factors. A couple of these are budget, amount of players or plugins, version of the server, location and so on. I might be able to help you depending on these factors, or suggest someone that can. Add me on discord so we can discuss in further detail, Scroll32#8539

Hey,

Since you don't seem to be in the market for anything particular, I'm going to shed light on the fact that there are so many options for you.

If you are expecting a high volume of player count, traffic on your website or have the need to run software like redis-server that aren't traditionally offered by shared hosting services, than you'll need a VPS or a dedicated server.

If you are expecting a low-modest player count 0-50 or so, than I would suggest a reliable shared provider. In my experience there aren't very many that are reliable and can help you/are willing to help you.

I have never hosted a Minecraft server using a VPS, but if I were to suggest someone I would suggest Vultr.
If you choose to go the dedicated route, many people would suggest using providers like OVH, SoYouStart, or RSnet.

Personally, I tend to stay away from each of these for the given reasons:
  • OVH - Their billing system is known to be complicated, and their support slow.
  • SoYouStart - Being a sister company of OVH, they only utilize older/run down hardware (Same billing system).
  • RSnet - In my own experience, and many others it's much more likely than other providers to be given faulty/failing hardware. (Not good for any production environment.)

If I were to suggest a dedicated providers, I would personally suggest Modern Solutions as my go-to, my experience with them is unbeatable.

If you would like to utilize a shared environment, and know for a fact that you will be taken care of, I invite you to contact me personally and give my hosting provider a shot, I'm willing to provide a trial for you.

If you would like to further discuss anything here, please contact me on discord.

It really depends on how you set the infrastructure up,

1. what kind of plugins you need to run, and
2. How many servers in the network
3. any geographies you prefer to serve?
4 how many people you plan to have on the network, vs your average count today
5. The DDoS protection you need, are you experiencing attacks frequently?

We have successfully set up and currently serve Minecraft networks, so we would appreciate a chance to hear more about your needs.

Can you tell us what you had in mind for the questions above?

Thank you!
