Hey McM, would any of you guys be interested in participating in a classic survival games? To answer some questions that'll be asked right off the bat:
Will I have to pay to participate?
No! This survival games is entirely for fun and no entry fees will be enforced.
How many players can participate?
To stay true to the classic feel of Survival Games, 24 tributes can participate at once.
Can players form alliances/teams?
To an extent, staying true to the classic feel means that only teams of two shall be permitted. Anyone caught violating this rule will be terminated from the games immediately and will never be allowed to participate in any future games.
Will there be sponsors?
Yes! For the first game I shall be the initial sponsor. I can spawn players in various items that will help them throughout the games. With that being stated, sponsors can also summon mobs and create traps to make the games harder for the tributes. To become a sponsor, one must be eliminated within the games. Sponsors can only spawn in cosmetic items only. An example being sponsors can donate maybe one or two arrows to a tribute but cannot donate a Power V bow with a stack of arrow. Anything given that is extremely overpowered will be trashed and the sponsor will be removed from the games. Any player that fesses up to receiving overpowered items shall get a reward for their honesty. Sponsors will be placed in creative mode and wear golden armor with invisibility.
What kind of items shall we see in the chests?
The items shall be pre-generated when the map is setup. There is the possibility that overpowered items can be acquired.
What map will we be playing on?
We will be playing on the classic Survival Games map that started it all!

What game version will the games take place on?
I have decided to stay clear of 1.9 and stick with the old combat mechanics in 1.8.9
What mods can we use?
The only mods permitted are mods that do not affect the outcome of a PvP battle. Mods such as Optifine are permitted whereas mods like ToggleSneak and Minimaps are not allowed.
