Hey there! I'm looking to dive into a new project with the MCM API and create a free* Discord bot.

What kinds of features would you want to see in the bot? Please let me know!!

A sort of misc command, like /aww, which uses something like the reddit API to get a random image of a cute puppy, or duck, or something, and respond with it.

A bot in which can post replies to your thread in a set channel, or possibly just announcements for mcm. Could help with people who don’t check mcm as often.

The ability for a discord bot to send you a dm when you get an alert.

Really nice!
my suggestions:
  • get auto Discord rank as a buyer
  • annoucement system for own product releases / updates
  • product was bought ping
  • mcm private chat via discord bot
  • auto support questions in the text that can be answered in advance

Run a command to get a link to a user's profile that has that Discord account linked. Could be helpful for verifying someone's identity in Discord who's claiming to be a plugin dev or something.
