Prusing down the forums in my ‘64, jockin the scammers, clockin them posts. Went to the archives to get the scoop, good posts out there lost in time. A post rolls up, what can it be? A post bout VCs being bad. He rolled out the post and started to say.. “VC?”

I dont understand half of what you said haha but its a rule you cant ask for a VC unless the person who made the thread states that they are offering them. Usually when i make a new graphics thread i end up having to report the spam of "vc?" and it all gets cleared even though i state that i dont do them.

Yes. I remember approving this suggestion I think, for obvious reasons - shitposting. It was actually being enforced fairly well back in the day, seems like it has changed now, like the rest of the forum lol.

1.8.4 Do not vouch on a product/service thread unless you have purchased that product/service. User vouches should be done via the reputation system.

5.7 Do not ask for vouch copies on a thread. If the author specifically states they're offering vouch copies, send a PM instead.

Yeah, you're not allowed to ask for VC's , sadly this broke market doesn't give a dam , you can PM for VC's if the author specified it, but people use it as an excuse .
Example : **OW Thread asking for a VC key**
Like it's just another way to beg.

People abuse the pm though, if i post an ad in sb for graphics they dont even bother checking the thread they just straight to pm and ask for a vc. Theres one guy thats messaged me 4 times asking for a vc after i post an ad, he never remembers he's sent them to me before so idk how many people he's doing that with

Yeah, I’ve definitely been hit with loads of people asking for VCs. It’s especially annoying when you clearly state that none will be given.

That's completely besides the point. There's a rule against it, therefore it should be enforced. If you're against the rule, please create a suggestion thread to remove it.

It's slightly annoying indeed. However, opening the PM and ignoring it isn't that hard imo. I used to get PM's frequently about all kind of stuff. From free hosting requests to account appraisals (never sold an MC acc in my life). I just open them and ignore them.

I handle them just as roughly as my unsolicited spam emails.
