... as well as an MCM supreme court of law to enforce the patents, and an MCM legislative branch to determine what the specific laws on patents should be, and no this is a bad idea

This suggestion legitimately makes no sense at all. I'm not quite sure what is being suggested.

If you want a patent, you're welcome to apply for one with the applicable patent office (United States Patent and Trademark Office, if you're in the US).

If you're suggesting that MCM should "make up" some kind of patent-like system for users, that just doesn't seem practical, in my opinion. It would just be yet another complicated system that MCM would have to try and keep up with.
