MCM PaxAUS stand

I'm a local who has recently moved from Asia to Melbourne and I'm Hella excited for PEX. I haven't really been in much gaming events because I'm not the oldest person (mcm signup age is not true). I've been to one gaming event and I helped a small stand to setup and it felt great.

I was in the shower a few days ago and I thought imagine a PEX aus Stand for mcm. I know I know that it costs some money but it would be a good way to attract new users, show off what's happening in the community and the unlimited experiences you can have on MCM.

Mick is from Perth last time I checked and Melbourne is a quick flight or a nice road trip (Ive been on a roadtrip from Darwin to Newcastle) and going with a few friends and a bunch of volunteers who live in Melbourne or would visit Melbourne would Hella have fun being at the stand


Please tell me issue with this idea before dissagring!

Seems like it could be a fun thing to have for people near that area~!

(Also you can make a support request for your DOB(Date of birth) to be changed on your profile, I did and it was changed pretty quickly)

I think it'd be neat if attendees could also get a little badge or something on their profile. (Non-Aus person perspective, just because I can't come doesn't mean the event shouldn't happen)

I'm aussie here - I think it is wise and nice how people don't disagree with this because it is not near their location. A badge would be lit but not needed. I'm hoping to get more web designers, graphic designers and things that arn't always related to MCM

MCMCon would cost hundreds of dollars. This is just a simple stand at a convention.[DOUBLEPOST=1525575909][/DOUBLEPOST]The thing is if you had a chance to have a commuinty from mcm come to a convention, are near you would you want to attend and emjoy the few days it'll be there. I'm not gonna lie if it was in LA i would be a little pissed but if you were from LA you would love to attend the place. Don't start MCMCon shit its annoying. MCMCon IS BAE

Yep

PAX isn't really where MCM's target audience is. This wouldn't really benefit them for the amount of money this would cost. If they were to do a convention, they would be better off having a stand at minecon.
