McM Server Suggestions

(This is packed full of suggestions keep in mind this will most likely be in a business form (way to rack the bank while keeping it fun for the players)

These are suggestions and I am in no way placing my ideas above yours. Also I want to keep this chat clean and suggestion full. So if it isn't against the rules I am fine with you posting your point of view below



I hope you are as hyped as I am this server looks awesome already. What's even better is it is being produced by the gods of McM themselves! So we already know the server is gonna be amazingly awesome quality (Hehem M6 ). But I have a few suggestions that could also increase your income so maybe you can drop a few other prices like colored names on here. Just a suggestions


Firstly it would be amazing if we could by a "Linker" tag/whatever. Basically it links all our McM Info so maybe if we do a command like /McM and if they don't have Linker it says "Sorry he/she has not bought this kit yet" or something, but if they do it says (Let's use me as an example) "Name Acropolis, Ratings 81, Last time online a moment ago, Most posts in Hosting Section" or something like that. Maybe sell it for $5.00.


Colored names are also something pretty cool although if we can could we keep away from Underlines and Bolds as they merge with the chat below causing it hard to read.
Maybe make your colored name merge to the server or if you want one just on the server (Not the website) make it like $3.00 or something !


Please no IRL trading. If we do that then we need a Slowdown Chat Plugin and for serious players that can sometimes get in the way. Keep the Deals on McM, get the game on the server.


Maybe Tags of what you do like my name for example. "xXBrokenShovelXx [GFX] or xXBSXx [Manager] cool stuff like that. Maybe sell them for $1.00.


Maybe have jackpots seeing as it is an economy server and they can win Tags, or maybe the best thing they can win is Premium . Although if they win premium and they have it already give em something else I guess. This would be bought with In Game Cash.


If the server takes off and everyone really really enjoys it maybe (Now Im on the fence with this Imma have to hear both sides of the argument) have like a raiding server bungee'd with it that all players can play. I am not sure about that one


Maybe have /chat s or /chat p or /chat ps and then /chat a. If you only want to talk to people in premium or supreme or both. Idk it might split the community.


I have this, but I am on the fence with it. So youll have your balance and then you have like Rank Balance and you can buy a booster that boosts all Normal Balance to Rank Balance by 1.25. With Rank balance you can upgrade your ranks like from lets say Knight to Clergy. These would be like $15-$30 depending on you guys.


Maybe have a donation goal sale like a 25% off. Now this 25% can go 2 ways. Either give them a code that only people who are on the server can play or give it to everyone so more people can buy it. Make it like idk 500-1000 dollars. Once you hit that amount there is a sale for like 1 - 2 days.

And what I eman by a 1.25 booster is in the shop lets say there is an npc and you can trade 100k gold for 10 rank coins. That would be boosted by 1.25. You can also tip them if you are thankful. Much like hypixel.

So basically pay for colored names twice? (and twice again if you wish to change it)

Why are you so pushy to have the server ask players for donations, especially when the players already donated for premium or supreme (or paid the admission to join). Your ways of making money are really bad, and the server isnt going to need $500-$1000 a month to fund itself... It is a private SMP server just for the people who support MCM buy purchasing a rank or admission.

Its not a contest to see who can donate more money, and the server isn't going to be hungry for money off of players who already paid for admission.

The cost of the server bill each month is like $18... That is less than 1 supreme upgrade each month.

Number 1: Just because they have a tag that says GFX does not mean they are allowed to spam it. Or even ask for people for that matter

Number 2: What I meant was if they have a colored name on here they can merge it. But if they dont and they just want to buy it on the server they can get it for a cheaper price.

I really want to hear your opinion and point of view, but if your opinion is purely based on the ignorant fact that you cannot read and or comprehend what I said; you should't have posted that reply. Again not bashing if they are your opinions Im bashing because you clearly failed to read with Number 2 and especially Number 1.

They are funding this off of people buying premium and supreme, name color changes, and server admission via the website... You think the server needs $500-$1000 each month to stay alive, the server bill costs $18, and if they couldn't afford that I am sure someone here with a hosting company would be generous enough to host it for free...

Why would anyone want to advertise them self as a 'GFX' or 'Manager' on a survival server. Why do they need a prefix to tell everyone that they are one? Cant they just say 'Oh hey I do graphics!' or 'Oh hey I am a manager on another server!' (and why would any of us playing survival to get away from business care about whether or not you are any of those things?) Business stays here on the forums, otherwise like I said people will be spamming 'Anyone need graphics' or 'Want to buy this', as it is already happening in the shoutbox (and is very irritating)

Here is a good idea for your name colors, everyone currently with a name color also gets it on the SMP server, how does that sound?

Well I have been doing some thinking and I was honestly blinded about the website that I was on XD. But these items should still be allowed to be obtained. More or less in game money. But I understand your point of view.

Please do not create suggestions related to the MCM server yet. It'll have it's own section once it's released.

As for the suggestion itself, the goal of the server isn't to make bank. It's to offer a fun experience for all the members. You don't have to worry about me donations or the server bills as the forum itself generates enough revenue to cover those costs.
