MCM Server

I mean, let's be honest... MC-Market is a website designed around Minecraft servers, don't you think it's a little silly for it not to have a server of it's own???

I personally think, MCM should get it's own server but, there will be a task to it, they (server operators) are not allowed to spend a single dollar on it; the MCM server should be 100% community ran, this means the graphics are donated to the server, plugins are donated to the server and hosting is supplied from the community, to the server.

All the money made should go to a different charity each month. Not only will this bring MCM more popularity in itself, but you're also helping out people around the world who don't have a chance to do awesome things such as be a member on this community!

This was just a quick idea I had about 10 minutes ago, I'll write more on this soon when I have the time to!

BeBosny already making a community server right now for minecraft. He talk about it before he became owner.

This idea has been suggested and suggested since the site first saw the light of day. Mick said this was going to happen but I don't know what the current state of the server is. Since Bosny is in charge it might not be happening anymore.

It would probably end up pretty inactive, to be honest. Many people (including myself) aren't that interested in Minecraft, and others are only there to control their own server. Seeing as TeamSpeak is much more fun for interacting with the community, and that too is pretty inactive, I don't see much hope with an MCM server. Good luck though.

@Blaze/Skill ran a community survival server back a few months ago with a lot of the people on mcm in it. I remember a few of us was Sloth, @SoldierAlex(me), @Blaze, TechBanana, uglybutcher, and more. It was really good and a lot of people played every day. @Verringer even came on at one point. It died off after like 2 months though because it got boring with little to no people getting on. However, I think this would work out much better since mcm has grown since then and many people would play the server. +1

I was there, it didn't last 2 months. More like 2 weeks, and that was only due to the hype he grew by making people wait, when he didn't really do anything. Also, for the time it was there, there weren't that many people on.

And besides, the users that DO play MC have servers of their own or are staff on other servers already. Nobody would even make an attempt to play on MCM's server.

A good suggestion is.
Why can I not rate this FUNNY.

I think rating things funny, creative, and useful were a lot more descriptive than just 'agree' and 'disagree', disagree was a good addition to the rating family, but now all of the other ones are gone from this section.

So many people suggested this before, and have tried to make one. Everyone here owns their own server, and wouldn't care to play on this one.

I've started a project like this, I don't know if it's going to be MCM's "official" server, but I'm just working on something based around the community. If someone would like to help me that likes this idea (SoldierAlex Camaloony), I'd love to have you.

BeBosny and the rest of the administrators are already making an official MC-Market minecraft server.
