MCM Shoutbox Moderators

To be honest, if there are going to be shoutbox moderators/no arguing allowed in shoutbox... I don't reccommend anyone buying ranks for shoutbox. It wouldn't be worth it and waste of money. I regret making my payment.

I can confirm we're going to receive guidelines for giving out punishments later today. Keep in mind that this is the first day having chat moderators and like I said before; some gave out more warnings than others. We hope to fix this so that we're all on the same page and excessive warnings aren't given.

As for myself, I think I've been fairly lenient with punishments, as I tell the user to stop doing the action before taking action on them myself and I don't count jokes and things that aren't meant to hurt a user. I'm not against anyone here just because of my new position, in fact, I wish only the best for this forum and all the users who use it.

In our private chat, I shall bring up some of these issues and see that they're resolved and that it only brings the best for both users and moderators. For everyone who doesn't agree with something that we have in place, I would recommend making a well structured argument to support your case and posting it to suggestions rather than complaining.

As soon as one becomes a chat moderator, tjrgg gives a "Staff Behavior Expectations" document.
Part of the expectation is that you act the part and be professional.

I mentioned the issues in our group chat and we plan on making shoutbox warnings separate from forum warnings. We are also going to have guidelines on what deserves a warning/ban and how to go about it so it's not too excessive/strict.

I was initially opposed to the idea of chat moderators but I think it's fine now, after spending a day with it. I think the Shoutbox can become a much friendlier place now.

Honestly, every single post I see of yours is a hating on the management of MCM. Quit complaining about every detail that doesn't go how you want, you aren't any more special than the rest of us here. I'm pretty sure you've stated to leave several times now, most of us actually don't care if you are leaving, you seem to be looking for attention.

I don't think the staff need your respect, when you don't deserve any respect of your own.
