If there aren't any rules, besides the ones mentioned on https://www.mc-market.org/wiki/rules/ as the server says, its fair game. Griefing, end crystal pvp, combat logging, etc.
So get someone to make some.
2. Enable PvP
Disabling PvP encourages people to go to the extremes. Jasmine set down a bed and exploded it, killing Blaze. in the end. There's the ability to now craft end crystals, leading to 2b2t combat. This leads to more explosive "PvP" encounters that damage terrain and loot.
Thus, I ask to enable melee and ranged weapon PvP as many will resort to this instead if "terrain explosive PvP" styles are prohibited, for the sake of lag and keeping the server looking somewhat pristine.
3. If #2 is enabled, disable MCMMO pvp related skills.
Namely, Axe skills, Sword skills, Unarmed skills, acrobatic skills.
These all relate to PvP in some fashion. Unarmed skill essentially lets you do damage with your bare fists if you level it up & you can steal other player's items in their hand temporarily I believe? Axe skills break down armor much quicker. Sword skills enable "Bleeding" effects.
4. Revert combat style to 1.8
There's plugins to do this. Disable shields. Even on "Easy" difficulty with mob's spawning their predefined rates, a new player will definitely be overwhelmed without prioritizing a shield, learning to use it, and delay their hits with sword against monsters that swarm them in the caves and forests.
On "easy" difficulty, I was swarmed by mobs in the mineshafts and I was cooking up some ores. Luckily I had a shield and iron sword, with some armor, and plenty of food. Its a rather annoying learning curve instead of spam clicking to kill mobs with 1.8 PvE mechanics.
