This is the unofficial PvP tournament thread

Tickets - $3.50

How will this work?
So - we will be using Kohi and creating a team, so that arches and I can spectate the 1v1s.

We will either be using gapple 1v1s (e.g. to win you need to get more hits), or Map 13 no debuff (click speed, potting, etc).

Hacked clients - I will make sure to check people's computers before the 1v1s, and any hacking will put the opponent automatically through, you will not receive a refund.

To avoid the likelihood of chargeback all payments will be F&F - I believe you cannot chargeback via PayPal - but you can via bank, (who is going to chargeback $2?).

Prizes -
Winner, 50% of profits
Runner up, 25% of profits
Third place, 5% of profits.

The remaining 20% will be used to purchase a $10 rank for the winner.

Being set up by people who don't know how to PvP.

Arches is mod on Basic, Tofah is an ex Kohi and BL mod, and myself ex RMC KitPvP mod, I also play Kohi a lot and I am at 1280 elo.

This will be on Kohi too, rather than a private server with MCSG ^.^

I mean ghost clients everyone is going to have them make it so you have to play vanilla 1.7 or 1.8 no mods or forge.

Kohi has an anticheat - which is decent. It will catch the obvious hacks - as I said we will be screensharing people.

Yes but kohi anticheat is horrible it falsebanned me twice, anyway people can hide clients so well nowdays it's too easy to get away with it.

The problem will always occur - we can only do so much.

Only reason this one was made is because they saw the other pist about the pvp tournament.

Your using kohis server
And winner only gets 50%
Also check are computers
Thats illegal and ghost clients where made fora reason

Many servers check players PCs through join.me and they seem to be doing fine

Once already has a pvp tournament, his seems a lot better and is hosted on a server with better anticheat.

Yeah this is a joke. Even if Once can't PvP he's doing a better job at setting up a tournament.
