Hello, and welcome back to MCM Weekly! I'm your host, User. This week's issue is packed with news, including bans, disables, accounts, a huge suggestion, a lock wave, and pop culture info! Let's get straight into it.

We'll begin with the members of our community who've recently been banned. Leading the way is katana2, also known as ... or Real Dark, who was banned for excessive rule violations. Just a few months back, this same user was banned mistakenly for ban evading, and it is rather disappointing to see him gone once again. This ban was preceded by those of devo, who ban evaded from the account Abhi, Podrido, who ban evaded from the account rotteN, JorgeOW, who scammed numerous users with MC accounts, and uwu, who scammed with the account "kitten" on a competitor forum.
This week, we've also had two unfortunate disables in the community. We begin with DanSells, who disabled just a few weeks back but temporarily returned. Now, however, he has disabled once again and deleted his Discord; it seems he has left our community permanently. Khafra also disabled, suggesting that MCM users move to another site in light of this Mojang lock wave (that he believes is partially due to a lack of privacy and security in account selling on MC-Market.)
Lastly, we have Blaze.'s disable just this morning. It seems he's going through a hard time in real life, and has requested not to be contacted by anyone from our community during his absence.

Last Wednesday, Lotus created a suggestion to remove Minecraft accounts, in their entirety, from MC-Market. Less than a week later, that suggestion is now the most viewed suggestion on the entire website, by a margin of approximately 5,000 views; this is over twice as viewed as the previous largest suggestion.
The community has seen a large divide in relation to this suggestion. As I make this thread, there are 79 agreeing users and 122 disagreeing users. Of the agreeing users, we have the majority of the staff team; however, we also have Aelin who has disagreed and Tofty, who disagreed with a similar suggestion (banning Hypixel Skyblock items) and is playing "devil's advocate" on this suggestion.
It will be very interesting to see how this plays out, knowing how large of an influence MC account sellers have on this community. Whatever happens, let's hope this improves the site.

Unfortunately for our account-selling community, Mojang has just locked over 30 accounts being sold on the site. According to Doge, this appears to be a manual locking spree rather than automatic, and it's unlikely to continue over the course of the next few days. Some members of the community are suspicious of the staff team, as this lock wave comes very soon after the "MC account removal" suggestion mentioned earlier in this issue, but there is no public proof of this being the case.

The infamous KSI v.s Logan Paul boxing fight of August 2018 caused a large shift in the world of boxing and an even larger one in the world of "YouTube beef". However, the tie of the first round, considered unsatisfying by many, left fans wanting more.
