Hello, and welcome back to MCM Weekly! I'm your host, User, and we have had a very busy week. With updates to the staff team, MC account sections, warning system, and reputation system, as well as numerous bans, unbans, disables, and returns, this issue is sure to be an interesting one. Let's begin!
And that about wraps it up for this issue of MCM Weekly! I hope you enjoyed, and stay tuned for next week! MCM Weekly currently has 42 subscribers.
This week, we've had a ton of bans, unbans, disables, and undisables! We'll begin with the bans, which we have just one of. This was Reinsure, banned for excessive rule violations. The rumored "nail in the coffin" was mass reputation reporting, but this hasn't been confirmed. Choo has also been unbanned; if you remember, he was banned about two weeks ago for having been compromised, but it appears that was not, in fact, the case.
Capaldi, Chearful, and Maddy also disabled, but it appears that Chearful has undisabled (as well as Eclipse, for a short time). From our previous issues, Cry and wavy have also undisabled.

Following our last issue, there have been even more updates to the staff team. Aelin was promoted to scam resolver and moderator (from chat moderator). TechBanana has been promoted to scam resolver (from moderator). Ellie, Kuchy, and Harry have all been promoted to moderators (from chat moderator for Ellie, scam resolver for Kuchy, and resource moderator for Majored).
Our warning and reputation systems have also received some much-needed updates.
The warning system is now entirely temporary, meaning no warning points will ever be permanent again. Past permanent warning points have been updated with new expiries, although members banned for warning points will not be unbanned, even if under the new rules, they would not have met the 75 warning point requirement.
The reputation system has been changed twice within this past week, the second time (although not yet implemented) with a much better community reception.
The first update, originally, would have removed all legacy reputation (reputation created before the new system was introduced), temporarily disabled reputation reporting, allowing banned users reputation to stay (but greyed out, and subtracted from the reputation total), and re-adding previously removed feedback from banned users. However, mainly due to the removal of legacy reputation, this update was met with harsh criticism, disappointment, and hostility. Just a single day later, Mick posted a suggestion thread for a revised update to the system; legacy feedback would no longer be deleted, but would be greyed out and subtracted from totals (in the same way that banned users reputation currently is). Reputation totals would be removed from display on most of the website, and users would now be able to upload evidence to feedback they've received in the event that the user is banned, suspended, inactive, or otherwise unlikely to change their reputation. This has been generally agreed upon as better, but still not perfect, or even necessarily good, in the eyes of the community.

Due to the recent Mojang "lock waves", in which access to many accounts (that were sold/being sold) was removed, the MCM staff have restricted MC account sections to Premium-only members. It is a step in the right direction, although Mojang could bypass this rather easily if they desired to. Regardless, the lock waves appear to have slowed or entirely stopped at the moment, so we shall hope they do not continue.

Today is Cyber Monday, and electronics everywhere are going up for insane prices. There's simply far too many deals for me to list here, but I'll link you a few lists to check out.

Personally, I bought a Pixel 3 XL, a SPIGEN rugged armor case, and a Tocol 3-pack of screen protectors, all for about $350.
