Today's issue does include some fairly subjective views on the staff members. I've tried not to include too much bias and clearly mark what is not necessarily a fact, so please recognize that when reading.
The most recent wave of staff includes Annie S., Jdsgames, Deleted User 77352, and MCCharity. Below is a short profile of the user's history on the site and some of the grievances that users have expressed with them.
Annqii - Annqii, an older member of the new staff, joined in November 2016. Recently, Annqii has become somewhat well-known for her high-quality, professional writing services, although she's also been actively buying semi-OGs and helping others in the staff recruitment section.
Grievances: Although she joined in late 2016, Annqii wasn't particularly active (at least, publicly) until mid-2019, leading many users to not have any experience with her and even cause them to be suspicious (which, after situations like Harrison's scam, is reasonable, although not necessarily justified). She also has just barely over 100 total posts.
Jdsgames - The earliest member of our new staff, Jdsgames joined in January of 2016 and has been actively discussing suggestions, buying builds, and more ever since.
Grievances: Jdsgames was next to completely inactive (through public posts) throughout most of 2018 and 2019. However, in my personal experience, Jdsgames has been vouched for by quite a few members through shoutbox, and it seems that most people have had positive interactions with him. He also has more posts than any of the other staff members (408, as of the time of writing).
Amokinio - Since July of 2017, Amokinio has been on the site working with website trading, web design, Xenforo, and more. After what appears to be a break beginning in late 2018, Amokinio returned to the site earlier this year and was recently elected as staff.
Grievances: Amokinio is not active in the most popular sections of the site, and is therefore not known by a large portion of the community. Amokinio also has just over 100 posts, which isn't considered active by many.
MCCharity - Although his post count is relatively low, MCCharity is a well-respected and incredibly active resource author, particularly in regards to premade builds, build packs, and schematics. MCCharity joined the site in June of 2018 and has been active ever since.
Grievances: MCCharity, outside of resources, has hardly any posts at all. He is also quite new, with his account being under 2 years old. However, in my personal experience, he seems to be the most well-recognized user of the 4 recently hired staff.

I personally think this staff wave is among the best we've had (although Ben J, Red, and Banned is kind of a power trio). MCCharity and Annqii were both great picks for the team in my opinion, and although I've had no experience with Jdsgames, it seems that the community has taken a liking to him, at least, from what I've seen in shoutbox. As for Amokinio, I've seen him in the domains sections once or twice, and he definitely doesn't seem like he'd be a horrible staff, though I don't have much experience to back my claim up. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see who sticks around
As a result of the new staff recently hired for MC-Market, 4 users have decided to disable their accounts, most likely temporarily, to express their disagreement with the picks of the staff team. These users are casket (who, previously, had become significantly less active on the site), Landon, Maddy, and nfdegreu3i23r22r. It is unknown when the users will come back, so we'll just have to keep watching.
EDIT (29/2): All users have returned to the site. Casket disabled due to "Mick being annoying."

Finally, a notable member (Popeyes) was recently banned for scamming. The amount or item he scammed is unknown, as no scam report was made on him and the proof is contained within a private MC-Market conversation. Based on his post history, it appears that he may have scammed through a $50 ($65 return) loan.
It seems that the Minecraft account selling market is finally beginning to recover from the lock waves in late 2019, particularly with OG and cape accounts. That's quite reassuring, especially considering I am primarily in the account selling community.

Thank you for reading! If you'd like to join a taglist for future MCM Weekly articles, feel free to ask. I have a few ideas of where I might want to take MCM Weekly in the future so I can do it more consistently, so I may post a feedback thread soon (and feel free to give me feedback here, if you'd like). Until then, à bientôt.
