Hello, and welcome to MCM Weekly, your one stop source for important MCM info! I'm your host, User. This week has been quite slow, with just a few bans and OG accounts. However, we do have a followup to a ban on a previous edition of MCM Weekly with some important information from an anonymous user. Let's begin!
This thread will be updated as new information comes in, feel free to PM me with anything of importance you would like to add! The next MCM Weekly thread will be posted on Sunday, June 2nd.
As previously stated, this week was slow in bans, which I suppose is a good thing. We only have 4 banned members; 2 for scamming, Huli and Kamikaze, and 2 for compromised accounts, Sag and bleed.
Huli ignored a scam report made on him due to not finishing a practice plugin for Zorah. Kamikaze did not scam, but rather, "conspired" (or planned) to scam. I cannot find any more details on this ban.
Sag and black guy both, unfortunately, lost their accounts due to compromising, likely from the recent breach of a competitor forum which will not be named. According to some, Sag was compromised by Sinner. However, his appeal account, KitToTheKat, claims this is not true.
On the other hand, black guy's profile was changed to say it was ran by Ironic/Sinner.
It's worth noting that just before the bans, Sag gave a negative reputation to black guy for exit scamming. This likely means that the two accounts were compromised by the same user, and considering that Sag's appeal account has claimed that he was not compromised by Sinner, the compromiser is still yet to be found or accused.

I'm honestly glad he was gone. He was extremely toxic, not a good person to be around.I don't think he deserved to be compromised, but at least we don't have to deal with him anymore.
Don't believe this was Ironic. I've spoken to him after his ban, he told me he was done with MCM.
The OG market has also been quite stagnant compared to recent weeks, with only 5 accounts I'd consider noteworthy. Those would be JW (hey, my religion) and 3o as the 2-letters and Brain, Virgin, Tofu, and Bright as the high-tier OGs. Virgin is already sold, but all other accounts are still for sale, so go grab one before it's too late!
Recently, Minecraft had its 10th anniversary. For this event, they released the number of worldwide sales they currently have, which is over 176 million. This number beats Tetris' previous world record, widely recognized as 170 million. Tetris will be 35 years old next Thursday, so for a game that's not even a decade old to beat it is an incredible feat.
In the previous issue of MCM Weekly, I covered SkyPrime's ban with all that was known at the time, which was that the user was banned for leaking an IP. I know now who the IP belonged to, how it happened, and the backstory behind it. According to an anonymous user, Sosa was working as a manager for SkyPrime's server. However, his work was unsatisfactory, so we was fired by SkyPrime. Sosa got angry due to this and decided to hack into SkyPrime's Cloudflare account, linked in one of their group chats, and disable multiple features, causing SkyPrime's server and website to go down. SkyPrime gave Sosa a negative reputation due to this, but failed to see that Sosa's IP was in a picture given as proof, and was subsequently banned.

If you tried to log onto MC-Market in the past few days, you may have been confronted with a CAPTCHA screen, asking you to confirm your identity to prevent suspicious users from logging on. Contrary to the rumors, no, this was not a DDoS attack. According to staff, the site was undergoing maintenance, and the CAPTCHA screen was manually activated to prevent anyone logging on to an unfinished site. This could very well mean that the site is finally receiving the updates mentioned several months ago. We'll just have to wait and see.
