Alright boys, we're starting this back up again. Dropping the uber-professional writing style though, as I can't be bothered to write 10+ paragraphs per thread. Regardless, you'll still be getting all your information on hot accounts, recent bans, important updates, and more. Without further ado, let's begin!
There hasn't been an update or anything else of importance recently, so that will wrap up this issue of MCM Weekly. Until next week, I've been your host, User!
The past few weeks have been full of high-profile bans.
Let's begin with the smaller users, like Pi, who was banned for scamming £36 from two different users. We also have CabooseSTK, who scammed a CS:Go knife worth $110.
Next up are two "medium-size" users, which would be DrewZ, who scammed $40 through a Venmo loan scam, and w4ssil. w4ssil, originally known as "yakz" or "Jealous", had his account compromised. Just before his ban, the compromiser changed the accounts name and tried to sell all of his linked accounts. Yakz is currently appealing on Yakzappeal, so hopefully, we'll see the outcome soon. (EDIT: credit to NJ_ for reminding me of yakz's ban and appeal!)
Finally, we have the largest users that were banned, those who have done tens or hundreds of deals, have hundreds or thousands of posts, and that have become relatively well-known in the community. bleed (also known as pp, rhubarb, malc, catfish, aim, and black guy) and GumTreeLeaf72 were both banned due to having their accounts compromised. Bikkie has opened an appeal account (BikkieAppeal) but bleed has yet to respond.
We also have the bans of Croc, who garnered too many warning points and was banned as a result (EDIT: he is appealing on Croc APPEAL, credit to Maddy for telling me!), and Nine, who supposedly evaded his ban on the account "Properties" (which he claims was not him, and he has appealed on NineAppeal). However, Nine has also been accused of scamming Deathadder and realjexll, so even if he was not ban evading, he also will have this obstacle to deal with.
Finally, we have oofing, who was banned for compromised a PayPal (the compromised PayPal was owned by a scammer, supposedly. oofing claims he didn't compromise anything, and that someone named lucifer [who oofing shared a business paypal with] was actually the one to compromise the account. We'll have to see what the outcome of his appeal is [@oofingappeal])
