I’ve seen on a couple of discord’s they have a system where you private message that user on mcmarket with a code and it verifies you on there discord. How would I go around doing that?

You could send a message on join to verify there MC market account and after they send a image of valid proof they can be over viewed by a staff member and if verified correctly you can accept it via a command and they can have access to the channels.

I'm assuming it's done via a Discord bot watching the inbox for the email on the account that monitors for the user and the specific code, wouldn't be too hard to replicate.
