Mcprohosting vs others

Hey there guys, I just found out a lovely server I play on are using McProhosting. There currently on the $40 plan. Im trying too convince them that McProhosting is pretty over priced and there are numerous other companies that offer the same for cheaper and that they can even get a dedicated server for that much $ a month. What are you suggestions and do you think the same?

I think McProHosting shared hosting and dedicated servers are overpriced, although I think their shared hosting is much worse, their dedicated servers are alright. As for suggestions on hosting companies. I would personally recommend www.nexril.net owned by Lyphiard and Aquatis owned by Klanx. They both provide high quality hosting services for great prices.

Hmm, I can't really think of things that MCPH does better than others? I mean they provide Ddos protection but it's not necessary the best, sometimes entire nodes go offline and it's not uncommon for that to happen either! I recommend to check this review if you're looking for something a little more in depth than mine.

MCPH in my experience is really good if you aren't that experienced with servers as its easy to setup, fast and they have amazing support. However, they do come at a hefty price so it really depends on what you're doing.

I feel like they are kinda premium offering good support and an easy to use system.
If you are willing to pay a bit more for that, go for it.
