Hey everyone!

Over the last few days, I've built a free Minecraft host from scratch: MCPublic. This service is meant to fill the gap left by Prohost.gs when it shut down. We offer a custom control panel with a plugin installer and console access. All servers are hosted independently and are not connected via Bungeecord.

Here's how to start your server:

• Log onto the server IP "MCPublic.org" in Minecraft
• Type "/host" to receive your console information
• Join the IP you are kicked with
• Log into the control panel with the ID and KEY you are kicked with
• ???
• Profit

Realistically, how are you funding this and how do you intend to maintain funding for this? (Just curious.)

There should be a way to restart your server.

And also download the world. As I started my server, but did /stop trying to load plugins, however it went offline with no way to start it again.

You start your server again using /host on MCPublic.org. Your world, plugins, etc. are all saved.

MCPublic has upgraded the free server package; you now get 768MB of RAM, which should increase performance!

I'm not sure on the exact details, as Google Cloud Services doesn't seem to show it. Here's the output from SSH:

I have 4 of those running and 20GB of RAM.

MCPublic will not be coming back online in the foreseeable future due to circumstances I'd rather not discuss. If you used MCPublic and want your server files, send me a message.
