MCServersGrid - A new concept of advertising

I've been toying with a concept for the last couple of months and I decided to bring it forward today and get some feedback on it.
We are all familiar with the nearly infinite server lists websites that exist, and we all know how they all look the same. A couple of sponsored slots, and then an endless list of servers that are displayed based on their votes.

While that concept seems viable, it's only useful for servers that already have a strong player-base, or for servers with a big budget that can afford a sponsored slot to increase views.
That's I'm here to bring you a new way to advertise your server, a concept that I believe can't fit anywhere else as perfectly as it fits Minecraft....pixel advertising!

Inspired by the famous milliondollarhomepage created by university student Alex Tew, and brought to life by the milliondollarscript, MCServersGrid is home to a million pixels grid that is ready to accommodate your server's logo.
And no second pages or anything, after your purchase, your logo will stay in the homepage for all people to see no matter what.
The process to get pixels is simple, you register an account, upload the picture you want, accompany it with some text and a link, and select the pixels you want (the pixels are given in blocks of 100) your picture to be displayed on. Then all you have to do is wait for me to approve your order before your pixels become visible on the homepage.
All members can only make one order of up to 5000 pixels for FREE, but a payment is required for orders larger than 5000 pixels at a rate of $ 0.10 USD per block. Custom orders can be made via a private message here.

Even if you decide not to buy more pixels than the original 5.000 every member can get, donations to help the site and me are happily accepted and greatly appreciated as they'll help me buy my firefighting gear.

I updated the thread, everyone can now get up to 5.000 pixels for free (donations are happily accepted though, my paypal is in the thread), but need to pay if they need more. The rate for extra pixels stand at $ 0.10 USD/block of 100 pixels. Custom orders can be made via PM.

Thank you! The script isn't perfect and my technical knowledge only goes that far. It has some bugs and that's why I'll be basing the website on donations (my Paypal is in the thread) instead of sales and only charge for extra pixels.

I thought the concept was original Minecraft and that's why I made the site. You can now order up to 5.000 pixels for free, but donations are greatly appreciated. My Paypal is found on the thread.


I'm also tagging TBK who I turned down for a "vouch copy" some days earlier so he can see it and get his free pixels now.

This seems very interesting, however one server list had a page that was similar to this. Unfortunately I can't remember which server list that was. Additionally, I feel like the registration asks for a lot more than other lists...just putting that out there.

I haven't seen a similar website that uses the same concept within Minecraft. Perhaps there is, but I'm not aware of its existence. As far as the information asked on the registration page, they are strictly confidential and won't be shared with any 3rd parties.
Now, I know a lot of people have problems with sharing their real name on the internet, so you can just fill it in with any name you want. It's only there simply because I cannot remove it as it came custom with the script.
Anything else you might want to point out, feel free.
