About Us
Ever since its launch in early 2017, MCVerge has striven to revive competitive Minecraft PVP through the development of fun and innovative game modes. Central to the our mission is the idea that our server is built upon player contribution, and we welcome any feedback users are willing to provide.

Gamemodes
So far, we currently have two active gamemodes- Nimbus and Duels. In addition to these two is Monster Brawl- a new FFA game currently being developed.

Nimbus - Team PVP
Reminiscent to the former "Overcast Network" or as it was known to some "Project Ares" is our gamemode Nimbus. While it's true that we took inspiration from PGM, our plugin is self-developed and completely proprietary. Players can take part in one of many team-based gamemodes including Capture the Wool (CTW), Destroy the Core (DTC), Destroy the Monument (DTM), Team Death Match (TDM), and Blitz. As a part of these games, we have custom and open-sourced maps for community members to play on. Join in and practice your PVP skills on anyone of these unique gamemodes.

Duels - 1v1 PVP
While at face-value duels seems like a standard gamemode, we place our emphasis on the development of exceptional maps. Our server holds host to several custom maps, each decorated with a unique building theme and are all community built! Users are welcome to submit their own duel maps (of the size 35x75 blocks) to be featured on our server. Furthermore, we place great pride in the fact that our kits were developed with careful precision and attention to detail. We asked competitive Minecraft PVP'ers which kits they would find the most fun to play, and developed accordingly.

Searching for YouTubers
The server's official release, July 22 at 12pm EST, will provide full 1.7-1.12 support, include a complete overhaul of our Duels server, and a full optimization of our website-server integration system. We are searching for YouTubers to post server trailers, in exchange for the "YouTube" rank. We see this as both an opportunity for us to gain exposure, and as one for you to market your YouTube channel.

In addition to receiving the mentioned rank, we are offering $1/100 views to specific partners for trailer uploads. Contact us on discord or through this post for more information.
