One-time Occasion.
Short 60 Minutes allowing the non-premium/supreme members access
to shoutbox. Chaotic, but why not let them have an hour of talking with friends and even making new ones.

Most will click disagree and say something about how chaotic and annoying it will be, but It's 60 minutes, atleast let them have the ability for that short of a period.

It'll be fun. Hour of non-stop talking and fun with the MC Market community.
Let the Members of MC-Market have their fun in shoutbox for one day, (one hour). They help the forum so much, just by being here.

I think this is great. Sure as the post said it'd be chaotic, but it gives a chance for non donors to get a taste of being a donor with access to the fun shoutbox. Ajdin can possibly put in a filter to prevent ip's of servers or anything related to servers in the shoutbox to prevent advertising. Also there's a 15 minute rule on advertising in the shoutbox, so even if each non donor advertises (which will be spam i admit) they would still be following rules. I like this suggestions, i'll be the 49th agree

i disagree big time , this is a very smart idea. but at this point the members would spam the shoutout box and we wouldnt even be able to hold the chat there will be so many links in the shoutoutbox advertisements and others i just think you should buy premium.


ill put it in smarter words : the shoutout box would be folooded and , when people spam staff can't even get ahold of the right user because theres so much of them

It would be a one-time event, nothing that MCM users can't hold. Imagine you being a member. You would want an hour in the shoutbox, to get the feels as a Premium member. One-time occasion, not a daily thing. (shoutbox*, wouldn't*, flooded*)

Ever thoughtof actually reading my post and seeing that bebosny can actually put in some addon to possibly limit shoutbox so its not advertising servers and crap? They wouldn't be breaking a rule either.

I know that I'm a little late on the reply but hey, better late than never. A ton of people agreed, but many disagreed as well and if you think about it, the Staff will have a really tough time, moderating even at this small amount of time.

My suggestion would be, why not create a different Chat, host it in a different Server and to prevent anyone from registering, here's how we can verify a user, with the XenAPI php Rest Api. This prevents Spam or normal users to enter the main Chat and this also lets the non-premium users to have a little fun.

I am a Front-end & Back-end Web Developer, I can easily create this.

But, if you (The Staff) don't agree on my Suggestion, would it be against the "Rules and Guidelines, Rule Nr. 1.2" if I would create a Chat for the Users of MCM and have my own way of verifying users without an API ( not automatically with scripts of any sort, everything manually )?

You can create a chat, but it cannot be associated with MCM in any way. You also cannot interact with MCM's systems in any way to verify that they are a MCM member.

I understand, although it would've been a nice feature to MCM. But anyways, if I ever make the Chat, I'll make sure to not include MCM in way or form.

non-upgraded users should be able to use the shoutbox (as they can see it already) They just shouldn't be able to use colors and formatting. Since all of that was taken away from premium it should be given back (because it never should of been taken away) and then while all of the normal users can use the shoutbox, all of the upgraded ones get to use colors and formatting.

Maybe in the future we (us upgraded members) could also get exclusive emoticons (maybe 5 of them or so) which we can use in the shoutbox & on threads. Mainly to add more to the shoutbox to encourage others to upgrade.
