I am a Human Resource Management student (final year) at University so my knowledge and background in Leadership is extensive. Not to mention I run a tech start-up business and I am CO-CEO of a Mental Health Charity. Throughout the years I've been involved in countless different projects from Minecraft Servers, to service teams to hosting businesses. Running a business can feel lonely, you have this huge pressure of responsibility and on your shoulders. Having a mentor gives you a hand at the top and eases all the pressure. My goal is to make running a business feel like second nature to you. Together we'll establish a good working relationship, we'll get to know each other well and I'll guide you through your darkest days in business. I'll not be running your business day-to-day but I'll be enabling you to maximise your potential and achieve more on the daily. Time is money.
Who needs a mentor?
If you are running a business as the sole owner, it is likely you are experiencing alot of pressure and it feels like you don't have enough time to do everything, or you feel like you aren't achieving much. I can be there for you. I've been in your position many times.
By providing guidance and regular calls/check-ins, I will enable you to make better business decisions, improve your emotional intelligence and coach your leadership style. Three very important components of running a business.
What's the process?
I keep it simple. I'm not looking to add more unnecessary pressure on you. So together we'll develop a process that works for you. When you want to call, it's up to you. When you want to review targets and goals, it's up to you. What's important is that we call regularly and set weekly targets and goals that are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely).
Is it confidential?
Yes, nobody will know you have a mentor unless you specifically choose to tell people or give me a public review/vouch. It is up to you whether or not you want to give up confidentiality.
What is your mentorship style?
Everybody has a different personality that requires different traits from a mentor, so for that reason I adapt to your personality. If you need me to be tough in order for you to get stuff done, I'll be tough. If you need me to be persistent yet gentle, I'll not add too much pressure on you but you'll be hearing from me atleast three times daily (even on holidays and weekends). If I sense that the mentorship style you've selected isn't working for you and you aren't achieving results, I'll change my style based on what I think will work for you. Every decision I make in mentoring you will be in your best interests.
Why should I pay for this?
It's simple. I want to help business owners thrive and maximise their potential. In order to do that I need to give up alot of time and effort. So to pay the bills and keep myself financially secure I have to charge reasonable prices based on the cost of living in the UK.
Where are you based?
I'm from the United Kingdom, but I can adapt to your time zone quite easily, I've been working with teams from across the world alot recently.
Can you mentor my team too?
Yes, as this will require more time, I'll ask for an additional £5 per head weekly. Affordable.
