Is there a way to prevent people from charging back on PayPal? And if you would use a middleman where the money goes to the middleman and then to me would someone still be able to charge back?

Only the middleman would be able to charge back since they would be the one sending the money. But the person could chargeback on the middleman.

There’s really no way to ever prevent anyone from trying to chargeback. That’s why you have to make sure the people you go into business with or the people who you choose to deal with are reputable and honest people.

Not really. Anyone can chargeback with PayPal, so the best way to do it is to be careful on who you are dealing with and if using a middleman make sure they have a good amount of rep for their service.

I always use PayPal invoicing and include their discord contact and chat logs within the invoice, in the TOS below I say they have to agree that the contact and chats are between us and are correct.
Then at least there’s proof it’s the correct account and a deal definitely happened. If I need to provide more proof of a later conversation they can’t claim it was someone else.
