I would definitely start out doing it for free, as there are much higher repped MM that still do it for free.

Whenever I start in a new category (eg. From management to design) I tend to give out a few vouch copies - or do work for free for a short period of time to get my name amongst the community. So in all reality, that’s my word of advice for you bud :)
