Middlemen section requirements

Hey.

Other the past few years many random People, or people with almost no rep whatsoever have been trying to offer a middleman service for the community which is fantastic, but it's getting out of hand. So many people have started to mm and use the same arguments etc. "You don't have to use me".

MMing is made for reputable people to help not so reputable people complete deals w/o getting scammed. Now it's anyone and not just reputable people.

A requirement should be set and if I had to come up with my opinion it should be something like

- time onsite
- rep
- messages (maybe not idk)
- trophy points

You name it.

Yes I'm being very hypocritical. I started MMing @ 19 rep but managed to MM cause the deals I had done were large amounts of $ and I was very active and trusted within the community, but I'm still no exception lol

This has been suggested several times in the past and denied each time. If you trust one particular person despite having a lower number of reputation or trophy points, then I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to post a thread offering their services. If you don't want to deal with people you consider to be unreputable, then simply pick someone who you think is reputable enough.
