MindlessPots.net (v0.5) Hiring Staff

Brief:

This post will be permanent and whenever I need some staff I re-update this post with the staff needed. This server is fully custom coded by myself. The staff positions available will be at the end of the post with their selected layout. Before applying for staff on this server, you would probably like to know a little bit about it so I am going to list it's main features and interests. The features are listed below with screenshots;

Information:

We are currently saving some money to open the server and hoping it will be up by the end of the month. If you do become a staff member obviously you will have earlier access to come and test all the features and check out the server. All mods will be sent a guide on how to deal with certain events. All of the positions listed below will be fully interviewed if their application seems good enough. Developers and web developers will be asked questions on the spot about their coding languages so be prepared.

If you do accept to be staff on our server we expect you to be on the server at least 5 hours a week (unless you do offline work, e.g Java developer or web developers) and we expect you to attend all Teamspeak meetings when needed. Once we start earning money from donations and we can cover our server costs some of our staff will be paid a reasonable amount. They're going to be two phases, the first where we read your application and disapprove or approve and the next where we will interview you in a Teamspeak channel (we will send you in a private message). If you pass both of these you will officially be a member of the MindlessPots staff team. Later on we will probably use a more professional method of communication but for now it's just going to be Teamspeak.

Remember you can still apply for the closed positions but you will not receive these ranks until they become open. We may not respond to your application immediately please be very patient, it may be up to 3-4 days. Please note most of these applications are similar with just a few additions or changes...

Why we should pick you:
- Several reasons pertain as to why I'd make a viable candidate for the moderator position on MindlessPots. Foremost, besides having skill in staffing, I also have skill with basic PhotoShop and Illustrator, Plugin Development, Building (my strongest skill), and Web Development (I know basic HTML and a bit of CSS). Why does this matter? In the event that one of your other staff who are designated for those other jobs are absent or are having trouble, I could help out with the knowledge that I know. These skills were obtained by being in the Minecraft scene for many years.

But besides those skills, I am most interested in the moderator position as it is one of my strongest as well (I can't dedicate time for building like I could with moderating) as I have staffed and owned many servers so I am very capable of dealing with toxic or otherwise problematic players. After years, I have matured to be a responsible young adult, so I believe I would be capable of handling most, if not all of my duties that come forth from being a moderator.

Other Information:
- I do take difficult classes in school (Advanced Placement) so as a result, over this summer, I have obtained two difficult summer assignments (almost done with the math one, but haven't started the English one). Dedicating more than five hours a week should be no difficult task at all but, if I were to be in a position where I could not dedicate those five hours for that one week, I hope you can be a little lenient as it is difficult keeping up with both rigorous school work and moderating.

- I am creating my own prison server at the moment, but will probably delay it if I do get accepted as a Moderator in this server. I hope being an owner of a server that has a completely different game-mode won't hinder my chances of becoming a moderator on here. I just wanted to be honest about it to prevent conflict in the future.

Why we should pick you: I enjoy seeing a server with possible potential, and I feel I have the proper skills/experience to hold this position. I am very knowledgable compared to many others, and I know what to do whenever there is an event. I can handle problems no matter if they are small or large, they are always under my control. I am fair, and kind to players and I am always welcoming to the new players. I have past moderating experience for several large faction servers, so therefore I know how to interact with all types of players and or situations. I am a serious guy when needed to be, and I take my job very seriously. I don't do things for no reason like some staff members, I like to provide evidence and have a good reason for punishment. I am a well rounded individual so it is pretty easy to talk with me.

Previous servers you have worked for (or do work for): I am currently working with IcebornPvP as a moderator, which ranges from 10-20 players during weekends. I also have been developer/owner on 2 past servers: EggCraft N/A | IncisionPvP N/A | ThePodium N/A. All have shutdown due to financial issues, and or me resigning due to abusive upperhand staff members that I had no control of dealing with.

Let's be straight forward, staff is a honorable position to have and I think I can manage it. I am on the mythcraft network quite a bit and I think being active will definitely help out. ASIDE from being active, I am extremely mature for my age and I can handle many situations without aid or advice. I am a lone wolf if you will. I could continue this topic and make some nonsense up, but I don't do that. I am applying for Moderator on MindlessPots for three reasons.
1. I feel as thought I am extremely fit for the mod role of MindlessPots because of I am known by almost the whole server ( even though the server has a small community ) and aside from that I know that there are some changes that people want. I feel that I could push for those changes or give advice from the players to other staff due to Player, Staff interaction.
2. I see quite a lot of disrespectful things while staff members are off of prison, and I would like to help clean and put a stop to all this. "One man can make a change if he's willing to do anything." I think that's a great quote to operate under. You see making a decision is a huge part of being a staff member. If you make the wrong decision that could cause a demote or embarrassment. I am willing to take whatever I must to be an honorable staff member.
3. I have been a high ranking staff member on a server that boosted my knowledge. I feel that I am quite good on the subject of player relations due to how social that server was. I think of this as a qualification because I know I can take my old teachings and revamp them into MindlessPots.
