Today/Tonight whatever time you are reading this, I would like to bring you something that you may have seen before, I am not quite sure, but here it goes. Ever since I started playing Minecraft I wanted to own my own Multiplayer server and I first messed around with port forwarding, could not figure it out, so I tried many other options such as Hamachi, things didn't work that great. I eventually got tired of having to re-create my Hamachi network just to play with my friends, so I decided that I would do whatever it took to start my server, so I eventually got the courage and asked my father if I could rent from a company called PytoHost, it was great. I finally was able to run my own Minecraft server and I did everything I had to do to keep it, it was very hard to start out with the command struggles I faced such as figuring out how to even run the server, and if i rented a server from a website, how would I pay for it? I was just a kid then and now that I think back to how badly I wanted to start my Minecraft server, and how hard it was trying to when you're a kid and have you no money to buy things on your own like a hosting service. So I decided to give back to all you people who would like to start a server, but just don't have the funds, or you are not able to port forward, your ISP blocks port 25565, or you simply don't know how. Whatever that reason may be, I am here to offer you a solution, I am offering this to only deserving people, not networks already running that are looking for an easy opt-out to their hosting bill. Over these past 5 years, I have studied many new API's, Networking tips, tricks and more, and I am not the 12 year old kid I was then who couldn't figure out how to mess with the basics of a router, so I am here to offer you a free service if you're someone like I was that just needs a little help to get started. I got off track for a moment, anyway, I am more than capable of running a service, I have been involved in administration of 300+ servers / virtual machines and I know what I am doing when it comes to things like networking, software, system administration, trouble-shooting and more. I would like to offer all you starting out a free hosting service for three months. This hosting service will end after a three month period, (Should be enough time to get your server running) after that, you will have the option to either stop running on my services, or renew your service for $2.50/Month (1.25/GB/Month) or even upgrade your server to a larger plan. This offer is strictly for start-up servers that need a head-start with their community, this is my way of giving back to the Minecraft community. So here is the scoup!
I will be giving out 40 of these services at no cost to deserving individuals, no strings attached. All services can be renewed via PayPal at the end of each cycle, or cancelled. Disk space can be upgraded as well as RAM if you would like to once your server has begun to grow. Please do not ask for anything such as free upgrades, plugin configuration, and development of your network, I am simply just helping you get a head start in creating all of your great new servers!
Why am I doing this?
I am looking to give back to the Minecraft community as well as gain a positive reputation on MCM
How do I get a service?
Simply private message me with a brief summary of what you plan to use the service for, and why you should be chosen to receive one of these free services. Include a username, valid email address, and password of your choice. I will respond to you as soon as I possibly can with my decision.
