Minecadia is a survival and Skyblock server. More will be added very soon. It is a family friendly, fun server with friendly active owners and staff. We’re looking to add more friendly and motivated staff to our team as we grow and expand to ensure all players are helped when they need it and feel comfortable knowing someone is always there and able to answer their questions.
Available positions and duties:
These are not paid positions, the server manager will decide if your application is accepted and what position you will be placed into. If you disagree with the choice, you're not obligated to accept the position.
Management positions are not being looked for or discussed for any reason what so ever.
Moderator:
Welcoming new players to the server and helping them get started.
Answering basic questions and more advanced questions they may have.
Moderating in game and on Discord to make sure rules are being followed and players are happy.
Resolve disputes players may have. Arguments and such.
Mentoring new staff to teach them how things are done.
Be a friendly presence on the server to help players feel welcome and at peace.
May work with admins to set up events for the server.
Senior Moderator:
This position will not be given out easily, you need a super extensive resume that shows you know exactly what you're doing. Some of the duities however will include the following.
A minimum of 20 hours per week in-game.
Keeping up on the ban appeals to make sure that they are all done.
Keeping up on the player reports on a daily basis.
Will be required to be on during launches and heavily active during the whole map.
May do screensharing once verified.
Administrator:
This will only be offered to the most qualified of applicants. Some of these duties will include the following.
Dealing with issues that require more power and more careful consideration.
Modifying and managing the server situationally.
Will be given specific tasks from time to time from the manager/owner and cannot assist during these times.
Giving screenshare lessons when needed.
Requirements:
Must be 13 or older, no exceptions
Must be friendly and motivated to help work with others to ensure a bright future for the server
Must be able to contribute 10+ hours to the server. More is always better.
Must be able to work with others as a team or on your own to handle things.
Must be fluent in spoken and written English. (We know nobody is perfect.)
Maturity is a must have and patience to handle a lot of people at once as need be.
Cannot have a poor history with any server regarding abuse of permissions or player abuse.. (If you got demoted unfairly, then explain that.)
Ability to think on your feet, follow a guideline and be active on the job. The server manager is strict and expects the job done a certain way.
Must be active within the staff chat on Discord to relay things to owners and other staff.
If you wish to apply for Moderator position, you must have staffing and survival server experience.
Must be able to use a microphone to be able to talk to players in support rooms.
Basic Discord knowledge.
You may not staff any other server other than Minecadia if accepted.
