Minecon cape code question

Is it worth it to put a minecon cape code on an OG but the TID and OGE are lost?

From personal experience: don’t do it. I put one on my OG main at the time and ended up losing it alongside the code.

I forgot to put the edit on my previous post.

I wouldn't put a code on an OG you don't have the TID and OGE to. You can easily waste a cape code to an account that could be pulled back.

but like what if the OGE and TID were lost

Sloth got pulled by the original owner and then he tried to sell it on here. The community gave him a rude awakening and he ended up giving the account back. A day after I got the account back Mojang saw that the account email had been changed rapidly and locked it. My backup main was taken back by the original owner.

It really depends who the previous owners were, I personally think accounts are more safe without og details.
