Minecon earth

a lot of controversy has been surrounding minecon earth and i just want to point out a few things.

First off for all the people thinking that minecon earth will only be hosted online you're incorrect.
take some time out of your day to read everything it has to offer. they're doing the live stream online with additional meetups of some such in person. Personally alot of friends of mine have been saying that minecon earth wont have capes. im almost 75% sure we will get some sort of cape / bonus item for attending minecon. lets be honest no one gives a damn about the baby like shit minecon earth is actually about. Personally if we do get a cape i believe its going to be something Earth related like: Grass, Dirt, Water, Sun. Just wanted to get some help cause im not sure to be hyped about this but all i can say is be ready to save up some lunch money and get yourself a new cape.

not to mention that every year mojang released a type of theme like last year we had enderman then ended up getting the enderman/dragon cape?(not really sure) but by the looks of it we will be getting a cape.

please tell me what you think of minecon earth. im curious who's attending this? anyone going to meetup please let me know would be great to find another crafter from this forum to meet in person.

I elaborated more on the other thread, but the real-life events don't seem to be much and they'd likely only be in a select few major cities. The whole focus seems to be "It's online!! Everyone can go!"

I'm interested to see if there are any cringe comps this year since minecon is split up not hosting officially by Mojang but partnered with. The whole reasoning behind having minecon earth instead of an actual minecon is so people all around the world can enjoy minecon ( from the company ). Well then why not have a real minecon in addition to minecon earth? I do wish there is a cape code or at least a real minecon next year because rip the cape dream!

If someone could link me about the meet ups that'd be great not sure if I missed it or if it was posted somewhere else.But I live in probably one of the biggest cities I hope we do have one here I most likely will buy a ticket or 2 just for cape codes

Mojang gave very little information about this years minecon, there are events but not really official and since they are so scattered I doubt there will be a cape. If there is I would ATLEAST like to know when and where and how. I don’t know why ATLEAST is capitalized my phone is weird.
