MINECRAFT 1.10: THE FROSTBURN UPDATE

What comes after 9? Well surprise, surprise: we’ve updated Minecraft to version 1.10! Get it hot off the stove in the Minecraft launcher.

The update contains changes for both the coldest and hottest areas of the Minecraft world. Polar bears roam the frozen plains, and a stronger kind of zombie may approach you in the deserts. There are also other additions you may find pleasant.

For instance, the update includes the second “technical block” after Command Blocks: the Structure Block. This block allows map makers to store templates of structures and place them dynamically with the help of Redstone trickery. Since it’s a technical block, you will not find it in the game menus, and is restricted to players who are admins in creative mode.

Here is a list of all the changes:

• Underground fossils made from bone blocks​
• Added Magma Block​

• A rare chance to find lonely trees in plains​
• Find abandoned mineshafts filled with gold in mesa biomes​
• Villages generate better paths between the buildings​
• More variations of villages, based on the biomes they are built in​
• Endermen have been spotted in the Nether

I was hoping for some massiver update - MINECRAFT 2.0

They hyped 1.9 quite alot, and we where all waiting for it. Now with 1.10 its taken us days to even realise its there. Things like endermen in the nether isnt really anything big. Just added a few things to the snowy biomes, and thats basiclly it.[DOUBLEPOST=1465505098][/DOUBLEPOST]They say removed Herobrine after almost every update, one of their overused jokes.

imo they didn't need to bring out a new full update just for these tiny features, they could have just updated it to 1.9.5 instead

Loving minecraft more and more. I own a vanilla server with friends. We started in 1.9 and can't wait to update to 1.10 I first need optifine 1.10 before I do so. I always am impressed on what Mojang brings into the table

Its alright for vanila servers, but for us with modded / spigot servers, updates are hard work, and often cause problems with players not been able to connect. So we have to wait for a protocol plugin, to allow players to connect. Already the diffrent 1.9's havnt been compatible with eachother, and now 1.10, i wish they would just wait and do big updates, rather than these small ones.

I get the feeling they want rid of servers, mainly for their windows 10 / PC version of minecraft and realms. First the EULA to stop servers from making as much money, then all the updates, to try and break them the best they can.

Incorrect. Mojang had Eula since 1.4 they just never really took action at the time. They assumed it was not going to be that bad. Until when chargebacks happened and parents confused they went right to the game owners then the server owners. And that made them take a stand for it. They add these updates for vanilla. It's not there job to care for other servers. This is how they make money. And how the game was made. Servers were just another thing to add more tension to the game.

Mojang trying to go toward a bug- free "final" version of minecraft. They said themselves that updates 1.10 through 15 are all going to be quick, small updates with a lot of bug fixes.



And as the person above said, they aren't trying to "break the game", the EULA's been in place for a long time, they enforced it as they didn't want the requests from whining parents, and due to the fact that Microsoft wanted the loopholes in the EULA to be cleaned and tidied up before purchasing Mojand

Like i said, was just a feeling but things have been getting slot harder for server owners. Personally just feels like quite a coincidence with the EULA enforcement starting, then the whole thing with version compatibility. If i was mojang and i wasnted rid of servers, so people change to the windows 10 edition, and realms. While trying to make it look like im not, i dont think i would be doing any better job than they are. Not saying they are, just feels like they are against us sometimes.

I thought that the next version is going to be minecraft 2.0
Bcz the order is : 1.7 - 1.8 - 1.9 - 2.0, so when will minecraft 2 will be released?!?![DOUBLEPOST=1465562423][/DOUBLEPOST]oh, and 1.10 is already used.
