Minecraft account selling issue with unlinked accounts.

There isn’t a huge majority of people that use the private OG section. However I’ve found a huge flaw relating to it.

You can post whatever account with whatever name without ever having it linked. This is a problem because hypothetically if someone reputable were to exit scam in the private OG section they could post whatever account they want.

I’m mostly bringing this subject up because you can do the same thing in the OG section too, but in the Private section people say it’s not “required” to link the account since it’s “private”.

I’m requesting that this be fixed by needing it temporarily linked to post it or some other fix for the problem.

Or possibly making it so accounts have to be linked to be sold in any section. This prevents a lot of issues such as ownership, if the account exists and the bother that staff might have to go through manually having to investigate.

That’s a different story I guess, but for the majority of the accounts that are sold aren’t duped.

The reason I disagree is just for the purpose of not getting the account locked, hence the point of “private og section.” If you don’t trust it, don’t do it.

I've not seen any situations where scams have occurred from the private OG account section from users who don't have an account associated. The entire purpose of the private OG section is to give people a way to sell accounts without regular users knowing it, and all minecraft account associations are public so it was not made a requirement.

If someone is trying to sell an account they don't own please report the user for attempting to scam.
