They introduced things like the EULA changes in the first place, something they knew would take down and damage a lot of the big servers. I'm sure a few simple signature checks on important files would be something they'd be willing to introduce so that they prevent all sorts of patchers - not just yours.

Yes, because they have 20-40K players lolol. So they can hold up there server with bare minimum donations.

Where's your logic?

More players = more expensive infrastructure.

You're better off losing some money than completely losing your server.

They'd have to hardcode it in somehow to make it impossible to use third party launchers. not sure how that would work.
