Crossplay is between the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PE, windows 10, and possibly PS4 versions. NOT the PC version.

from what I perceived it's that this summer they'll implement cross platform multiplayer i.e: PC and IOS users playing together. Also they'll implement texture packs or modify the in-game graphics to make a "shaders" like experience. (assuming you know that there is a mod called shaders that makes Minecraft beautiful)

What was the marketplace thing?

It's like a currency using irl money to buy maps, skins, and what they call graphic packs (resource packs). If you want to see another game using this method, look at Roblox. The system is made to help those map makers who need money to work/live.

This is nothing compared to Minecraft 4K. Just imagine being able to see the pixels in 4k resolution, because that wil change the way the game looks. It will basically only have an effect on the sky lmao.
