Hypixel was getting DDoSed yesterday I think, I was on till early this morning though, so idk,

OVH, Mojang, Mineplex, Hypixel, GotPvP, Hive, etc. Those are some examples of servers and businesses taken down by HOICSquad. (High Orbit Ion Cannon aka Booter). Pretty much, the level of attacks cannot be prevented as of now. I mean he took down OVH, lmao.

When Mineplex got a 60 Second hit ->

I've seen a plugin that is supposed to work like mojangs auth verification so if their servers are down yours won't be, I wonder if it works.

Does that plugin have access to Mojang's database? No. It likely logs the IP of players, turns your server into offline mode when sessions are down, and only allows users to connect when their IP corresponding to their name.
