Im so confused why alot of people use vps/dedi instead while they are more expensive and has no difference or im wrong?
Because minecraft hosting cost like $1 and dedi cost $30 for 1 gb and you have to do it manually to setup a minecraft server. Can someone explain lol

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

With dedicated servers you get the machine all to your self, you arent sharing it with someone.

Not sure what you mean by that. Hosting companies such as mcprohosting use a seever box that fit lets say 30 clients server so you hace to share that server box with 30 other people

That could also be the same with a VPS. But, there isn't anything wrong with sharing a server, performance will still be great.

Having a dedicated machine would fit you more if you are a linux guy who wants to do more than just setup a Minecraft server. Now if you are not a linux guy, and just want a Minecraft server, shared hosting is all you need.

VPS's are okay, and you can do a lot more with them, over shared hosting. However if you want the best performance, get a dedicated server, and hire a system admin, (or me :)) to set it up for you. Price per GB can also workout cheaper if you use a dedicated server. So if you need 16GB+ then dedicated is the way to go. You can get a 32GB dedi for $49 a month, from SoYouStart, if i remember right.

A Dedicated server isn't really necessary unless you plan on running a large server, or network. Most of the time a server to play vanilla survival on with a couple of your friends is perfectly suited by either a VPS or Shared hosting. So yes, a Dedicated server certainly seems expensive, and that's because it is. Then again though, your average Minecraft player doesn't need the full power of a Xeon, with 32+GB of RAM, etc., etc.
