A topic that is brought up a lot mainly for postfarming is "Is Minecraft dying?"
This thread is going to be similar to that, but it will actually focus on MCM instead of the entire game. Minecraft isn't in its golden age anymore. It's not technically "dying", just losing popularity and interest of its veteran players, simply because most of them have grown up and moved on to other things.
If you look at the categories, only 6 of them other than the OG/Cape accounts are Minecraft related. (Established Servers, Premade Setups, Premade Builds, Plugins, Building, and Configuration). All the other categories are something unrelated to Minecraft.
Eventually, Minecraft will die and unless MCM wants to die with it, they should make some changes. I think that in 1-2 years, MCM should try to change the name/forum into more of a digital sales forum, instead of restricting itself to just Minecraft with the name. You can still sell Minecraft items, but the site would be free to expand into new categories.
