I'm asking this because i don't know where to find just the minecraft accounts that are basic and just for play.

Hella insecure, easy to scam with, the list could go on. Lots of unnecessary clutter too, too many reports that would have to be resolved. That's just imo, if there's another reason then someone will say so.

can't that happen with any type of account, though?

No accounts that are not Og, Semi-OG, cape or ranked may be sold here. This is also written in the rules. I strongly suggest you read all of them to make sure you do not miss something else important.

^which is also the reason it was disallowed for a number of months. Only the begging of the community brought any sort of accounts back, and they can't be cracked or otherwise 'illegally' obtained.
