Hello fantastic people!
So i have a computer at home so there isn't any ddos protection, and i don't use it and its on 24/7 so i decided to use it as a host.
Here are the specs of the computer:


OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 820 @ 1.73GHz, 1734 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 14,0 GB

Lets see, i don't really know, i'd say all of the 14. around 30 dollars or 25 a month??

Home connection for hosting is a very very bad idea. 1 the connection would be quite slow, so if someone were to DDoS it, it could be done with as little as a cheap VPS. 2. This is your connection, if one of the servers comes under a DDoS attack, RIP your internet connection. 3. It’s a home connection, so you will have a dynamic IP address, so if you were to lose power, or your modem was to be taken offline by an attack, there is a chance that your ISP, would assign you a new IP causing players to no longer be able to connect to any of the servers. 4. How are people going to access the console and their server files? Be careful what you setup for that, if it’s not secure you are leaving your PC wide open to getting hacked.

I suggest you pay for a normal dedicated server, I don't believe a home computer should be on for a long period of time. It will slower the speeds of the PC, hence the server being slow.
