What do you all think is the recommended amount of RAM to start with for server hosting, ideally a Skyblock server.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Hi there, this all comes down to your desired Minecraft version, how many plugins you'll have, and players estimated.

Buying a vps and setuping your server by yourself would be a better option.

Looking to do a Skyblock server, nothing to heavy plugin wise. For the latest version.

What do you think the server specifications should be.

I'd recommend 6-8GB to start. Upgrading is always an option later.

well if its 1.17.1 you might wanna go 5GB for 5-14 players, 8GB for 15-25 players. But I'd say get 10GB of ram if you're expecting 30+ players and also cuz of many islands being created
